I live in Kennewick but lived in Umatilla for 28 years and still keep my boat at moms house in McNary so I don't have to pull my boat back and forth. I fish for walleye exclusivly below the dam. If anyone want's to hook up and go sometime, give me a yell!

John Junior or Senior? This is Don Anderson. We should get together and go some time! My boats been in the shop for a couple of weeks  Should be out soon. Have you been Steelhead fishin? I heard they have been slayin them at night above the dam. Talked to a guy at the store the other day he said he caught a limit and his largest was just at 22 lbs. I'll see ya on the river. Look for a blue and gray Lund. Phish Witch. See ya later!

hi guys, i live in seattle, but my girl lives in west richland. i fish eastern washington hard. especially since i just bought a 12 ft. alum w/ 18 hp motor, trolling motor, etc. i have fished below mcnary many a time, but it was always with someone and not always for walleye. im trying to learn the water from the dam to above irrigon. any tips/hints/techniques/spots to fish are greatly appreciated. also, any idea what the wally fishery is like above the dam? thanks for any help.

Sure am glad to hear about people living in Tri-City, Hermiston, Umatilla area that are willing to show a "want-a-be" how to fish for walleye. I've never fished for them but have wanted to for some time. Don't have someone to go with most times so it's just me. I come in from Grandview and love to fish the Columbia. Will be sending some of you messages in the near future as the water warms some. I have a boat, 15' Starcraft aluminum, 28 HP outboard and electric trolling motor. What are your favorite methods of walleye fishing? [/img]
