Big-big walleye

Postby Olyolson » Sat Feb 11, 2012 10:23 am

I'm sure Jason will provide details soon. But a pending new WA state record walleye was caught about 2 hours ago. Don't shoot me.

Mark you are the messenger and therefore you are going to get it. I want details. You can't drop a nugget like that and not give details.

Just out of curiousity, how do you go about reporting a state record. YOu know in case I catch one during the freezeout. I imagine it has to get officially weighed and such. But then what, how do I get word to Cabela's that I have a fish for sale?
I'll give you a winter prediction. It's gonna be cold....it's gonna be gray.....and it's going to last you for the rest of your life.

Still waiting...1 report just under and 1 report just over. I'm so confused....Sounds like it was caught at Moses. I have a bullet proof vest on by the way.

Whoaa there fellas! I don't know who started this rumor, but that fish is only 14.9lbs, just a few shy of the state record...
It was actually caught by a friend of a friend last Thursday.
